MindBodyHealth was formed in 2007 by Drs. William Clancy and Justin Ross

Denver psychologist Justin Ross is a founding member of MindBodyHealth. He has worked extensively in various settings in the Denver metro community, including positions at The Children’s Hospital and National Jewish Health. With a background in cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dr. Ross cultivates the development of mindfulness and recognizes the importance of both acceptance and change. His comprehensive treatment approach weaves individuals’ unique strengths to overcome psychological distress to live a life more in tune with personal values.

Dr. Clancy’s expertise is in the prevention, assessment and treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating and obesity. He was also trained extensively in short-term and cognitive-behavioral modalities within the Kaiser Permanente system, working with a range of  populations: individuals suffering with eating disorders, teen weight management patients, inpatient and outpatient, oncology and emergency units. His functionally eclectic approach synthesizes the range of possibilities present when one masters cognitive flexibility, relational effectiveness, stress reduction and emotional attunement. He is a member of the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology Adjunct Faculty, and is co-chairperson of the Colorado Psychological Association’s Society for the Advancement of Multiculturalism and Diversity.
