Health care providers are especially prone to stress, fatigue and burnout. The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) has published research documenting how chronic work related stress leads to poorer quality patient care as well as increased problems in personal life, such as relationship stress and sleep difficulties. Mindfulness training has been a proven strategy for reducing stress, fatigue and burnout for health care providers, while at the same time improving direct patient care while sustaining quality of life factors outside of work.

MindBodyHealth offers mindfulness based training for health care providers geared at stress reduction based on the published research in JAMA. In-service training for organizations, hospitals, and health care teams is provided. We also offer a group course in our office for those wishing to practice independently. Please contact us for additional information on this important training today!
